This is the second completed picture in my 2110 project. I'm not working on each one in order, just trying to do which ever one I can when friends & props become available.

@dj.tigersprout: The cheese grater comes later in the scheme of things but yes it's part of the same series. I took the head off my razor and shone a torch through it to create the light. The backdrop was from my coffee machine and the smoke effect was created from a photo I took of the fireworks from Lichfield festival last week.
very strange and interesting !

@Tilala: Thanks.
Like the concept, liked the original photo I saw better, there seems to be a quality issue here, not very clear and grainy

@Peter Miller: It looks fine on my screen and it hasn't been altered since you saw it in print. This is what you get for investing in cheap monitors ;) I think Aminus3's photo compression takes a lot of image quality away.
wow thats cool!! i dont get it.. its like a shaver. waterfalls and people.. but i love the image!

@neilanie: It's one of twenty I'm doing in a series that eventually will end up telling a story. With each picture I'm trying to create an image that allows people to make their own mind up to some degree. I'm not sure whether I'm succeeding or not but it keeps my mind active and I'm enjoying the project.
Great idea, Mike. Very original. And I like the composition. I have a very high quality monitor. HD Mac and yes there is lack of clarity and grain. I think that if this quality loss was in any regular photo it would be easily disregarded. But when you are going for high art based on digital alteration people expect high quality. I like it anyway considering that you are not a pro and the amount of time and effort you put into it. And plus... it is almost there.
