@Nataly: Thanks. The next couple of pictures won't be completed for another 3 weeks or so due to holidays. I've got most the photos taken I need to complete them but still have to drag my very tolerant friends out for another shoot (or two).

@dj.tigersprout: Thanks DJ. Having never watched or read the Harry Potter films/books I wasn't aware of a chess battle. My kids have the film so maybe I'll check it out.

Although the Led Zep song title is appropriate (makes me think of those medieval battles) I like this composite picture, very well done ! A photoshop master ! :-)

@zOOm: The idea behind the picture was a battle between man and nature. I took the photo of the forest and then set the chess board to fit in. I wanted to depict a scene where the trees checkmated the King. King being the world leaders. I'm glad you picked up on the Zep title. I couldn't think of a more appropriate title even though it had been used before. My interpretation is slightly different to theirs so I feel OK about it :)

The chess board is on the slant, why is the pawn not running off, must be a piece of blue tack underneath. Interesting though. Also which part of the scene is in focus, is it the King?
