A fabulous shot Mike, I'm just wondering what was there first... the houses or the viaduct? Not a place I would want to live. The area around Runcorn bridge is very much like this.

@Michael: An interesting one Mike. I haven't got a clue. The place is nowhere near as grim as it looks in the photo. The village is in a beautiful part of the High Peaks, not at all built up like I imagine Runcorn to be. That said, I still wouldn't want to live right next to the viaduct.
I love the the composition and the processing is spot on.
